5 Vodka Cocktails Where You Can’t Even Taste the Booze

Best Flavored Vodka Cocktails

Vodka, the national pastime of Russia has transcended borders to be the all-time favorite drink of many boozers across the globe. The ‘fire-water’ doesn’t agree with the tongues of many, but because it sort of lacks a particular flavor, people prefer to use vodka in many cocktails. Here are 10 best flavored vodka cocktails where you can’t find a hint of vodka.

Rhubarb & Strawberry Collins

Rhubarb and Strawberry are great for marmalades and jellies. They can be used in waffles and pies and pies as well. Perhaps one of the greatest food scientist was the guy/girl who put some vodka in the strawberry jam (imagine how high he would’ve been). The result would’ve been so delicious that Dr Foodestein decided to make a Collins Cocktail out of it. Rhubarb & Strawberry Collins Cocktail is made up of:

  • 5 oz vodka
  • 5 oz Aperol
  • 75 oz Rhubarb syrup
  • 75 oz lemon juice
  • 5 oz strawberry juice
  • 1 club soda
  • 1 Lemon wheel for garnishing.

Citrus Thaipiroshka

Drinking it isn’t as difficult as pronouncing it. Thaipiroshka takes its name from Caipiroska, a form of Caipirinha (Google it Captain Lazypants!) prepared with vodka and its tropical Thai appearance. It looks like the classic lime & lemon vodka mix but has an entirely different taste.

  • 2 lime wedges
  • 1 tsp Sugar in the Raw
  • 5 oz Ketel One Vodka
  • 1 oz Thai Basil Syrup
  • 1 oz Fresh lemon juice

Cardamom is one among the best flavored vodka. You can’t take your wife and your mistress to dinner at the same time but there are other two loveable things that you can mix: vodka and espresso. Apparently Nico de Soto introduced the world to this great recipe where cardamom mixes with pistachio fat-washed vodka. The mix will look quite like hot buttered rum, except it cools your tongue.

  • 5 oz Pistachio fat-washed vodka
  • 5 oz Brazilian espresso
  • 5 oz Cardamom syrup

Cucumber, Basil & Lime Gimlet

It’s the perfect drink to cool your nerves to, after a heckling day after office. The cucumber and basil soothe your overworked cortex. It’s like pouring water on a heated pan. The citrus flavour adds zest to your evening. You’ll end up drinking more than two. Just make sure you don’t drink a lot to make yourself regret the binge-drinking the next day.

  • 5 oz Moon Mountain Vodka
  • 2 slices Cucumber (.25 inches)
  • 5 Fresh basil leaves
  • 1 oz Lemonade
  • 25 oz Lime juice

Girls Next Door

This vodka mix boasts floral and fruity hints. If you think it looks girly then you’ll probably miss one of the best concocted cocktails out there. Girls Next Door is made up of strawberries, pear liquor, lemon juice, hibiscus extract, and more. If you happen to add a little bit of Chemical X, you might create the Powerpuff Girls.

  • 2 oz Ruby Red Absolut
  • 1 oz fresh squeeze grapefruit juice
  • 1 oz orange liquor
  • splash prosecco
  • strawberry juice
  • hibiscus star extract
  • pear liquor
  • lemon juice
  • egg whites (optional)
